Learning Chinese is Easy -

If You Have the Right Teacher

The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains.
The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.                                                                                                          William A. Ward

Born and raised in China, I am a native Chinese speaker and nationally certified language teacher based in Beijing. I have experience teaching at universities, private language schools and one-on-one online and offline classes. I speak English fluently and even some Spanish. I had the privilege of spending a year as an exchange student in Sweden and traveling around, which made me more open to embracing Western mentalities. I visited over 50 cities in China to make documentaries. My experience will make our class practical, proficient and entertaining.

Teaching Chinese

I started to teach Mandarin to foreign friends as a hobby when I used to be a graduate student in Beijing. After I came back from Europe, I have always wanted to commit myself to cross-cultural communications. Teaching Chinese gives me this opportunity and I love sharing my own culture with the world through language teaching.

I believe each student is unique. I prepare tailor-made materials for every student, ranging from daily communication to business presentations, from travel Chinese to HSK tests, from beginners to Chinese literature. Throughout the learning process, I constantly help my students improve pronunciation and experience Chinese culture. By integrating Chinese into real life and sharing the stories of China, students’ motivation is constantly improved.
